An Oral History with Rod Lucas
Recorded by Anne Welles, Summer 2023
Rod was the easiest person to interview. Once I introduced him, he spoke without prompting for multiple sessions. He would sit in his living room in his rocker, close his eyes and start talking in such detail I felt like he was watching his life story unfold in his mind….

What’s New at the Manset Meetinghouse
We have been doing a lot of sorting of items within the society, along with cleaning up the storage area and updating collection files. We had some electrical work done and added new lighting to brighten up the museum. We will have more spot lights, highlighting certain displays. We hope to do some painting and displaying items in our common area. We also added one wall of prints (pictured here) from local artist, Christine Gilley.
